Call for Special Issues
07.01.2026
The Czech Journal of International Relations (CJIR) is pleased to invite proposals for special issues to be considered for publication in upcoming volumes. We welcome innovative proposals that address pressing themes in international relations, and that demonstrate theoretical, empirical, or methodological rigor. Special issue proposals should include a clear theme, rationale for its importance, an outline of proposed contributions or topics, and a proposed list of potential contributors. Interdisciplinary approaches and perspectives that bridge traditional subfields are encouraged. Proposals will be evaluated by the editorial board on the basis of relevance, coherence, and contribution to the field.
Please send your proposal and a brief CV of the editor(s) to the CJIR editor-in-chief at michal.kolmas@mup.cz by February 28, 2026.
